How do I move my existing employee data into TeamCey?

Export your current records to a spreadsheet and use the bulk importer — it maps your columns, validates NICs and salaries, and flags anything unusual before saving. Most teams are fully migrated within a day, and we help with migration for free.

Are EPF, ETF and APIT calculations really handled automatically?

Yes. Every payroll run applies 8% employee and 12% employer EPF, 3% employer ETF, and the current APIT 2026 brackets automatically. You get EPF Form C exports, statutory summaries, and bank-ready salary transfer files without touching a spreadsheet.

Who can see salary data?

Only HR administrators in your workspace. Every company's data is isolated with database row-level security, and employees see only their own payslips and balances through the portal. See our security page for the full picture.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Starter and Team plans include a 2-month free trial with no credit card required. Near the end of the trial we remind you, and you choose whether to continue — you're never charged silently. Your data stays intact either way.

Which banks do the salary transfer files work with?

TeamCey generates bulk salary transfer files with templates for HNB and Commercial Bank, plus generic CSV formats that work with other banks' bulk upload systems. Always confirm the template with your bank before the first upload.

Do my employees need to install anything?

No. The employee portal is a mobile-first web app (PWA) that opens in any browser on your company's own portal address. Employees can optionally add it to their home screen, and it keeps working offline.
